Overview
This policy was created to outline how Mammoth Creative Group will use AI tools ethically, legally and effectively to protect our clients and demonstrate best practices at all times. AI is a rapidly advancing technology, so we will update this policy as the technology and our usage evolve.
At Mammoth Creative Group, we are committed to identifying and capturing opportunities arising from emerging technologies. While we are aware of the potential of AI tools, we also acknowledge their limitations and pitfalls, and we continually seek to uphold factual accuracy, observe ethical use, and refine our approach to their use.
Through careful experimentation, we use emerging technologies to expand our understanding of how they work, how they can benefit clients, and to apply them within the parameters set out in this policy.
For example, AI audio and video tools can help us save time on creative projects, just as image tools and text generators do. Through responsible implementation, our team can save hours of editing time by using audio clean-up tools to remove unwanted background noise.
Principles
- We believe in the responsible design, development, deployment and operation of AI technologies.
- We believe in a human-centered approach to AI that empowers and augments professionals. AI technologies should be assistive, not autonomous.
- We believe that humans remain accountable for all decisions and actions, even when assisted by AI. The human must remain in the loop in all AI applications.
- We believe in the critical role of human knowledge, experience, emotion, and imagination in creativity, and we seek to explore and promote emerging career paths and opportunities for creative professionals.
- We believe in the power of language, images and videos to educate, influence, and create change. We commit to never knowingly using generative AI technology to deceive or to spread falsehoods, misinformation, disinformation, or propaganda.
- We believe in understanding the limitations and dangers of AI and considering those factors in all our decisions and actions.
- We believe that transparency in data collection and AI use is essential to maintaining the trust of our audiences and stakeholders.
- We believe in personalization without invading privacy, including strict adherence to data privacy laws, mitigating privacy risks for consumers, and following our moral compass when legal precedent lags behind AI innovation.
- We believe in intelligent automation without dehumanization and in AI’s potential to deliver profound benefits to humanity and society.
- We believe in an open approach to sharing our AI research, knowledge, ideas, experiences, and processes in order to advance the industry and society.
- We believe in the importance of upskilling and reskilling professionals, and using AI to build more fulfilling careers and lives.
- We believe in partnering with organizations and people who share our principles.
