In which we outline best practices for the use of Mammoth Creative Group’s brand assets and offer useful examples.
Our logo is the primary design used to represent our brand. It should be used in most instances. Our logo is composed of ‘Mammoth’ set in Roboto Black and ‘Creative Group’ set in Roboto Condensed Regular.
The text is placed to the right of our boxed logo. We use the width of ‘C’ to set the space between the icon and text. The box comes to the top of the cap line of ‘M’ and the baseline of ‘Creative Group.’
The boxed icon is our brand’s official symbol. It should be legible at all sizes and always appear in solid colors (navy and Columbia in our color palette) unless sparingly used as a living icon for holiday promotions or other special occasions.
Our abbreviated lockup is an alternate version of our primary lockup that can be used where space is limited or you want to include our branding as a small detail.
The badge logo serves as a versatile variation of our primary logo that can be used for fun, one-off applications, such as semi-transparent details in social media backgrounds and other uses.
Clear space is the open area surrounding a logo. Keeping this area free of other visual elements ensures the Mammoth Creative Group logo and icon are easily read and immediately recognizable across all usages.
For the logo, the height of the ‘M’ in ‘Mammoth’ establishes the dimensions of the minimum amount of clear space that should always be present around the logo. The icon’s width, scaled down to 25% of its size, also establishes a minimum amount of clear space that should always be present around the icon.
Alternate designs, such as our text-only version, isolated icon and initials, may be used in specific applications when necessary.
