The challenge
Revolutionizing wine & spirits barrel handling
For decades, the wine and spirits industry has been plagued by a one-at-a-time process of moving barrels. These 500-pound barrels, when moved, are a safety and logistics nightmare, and even with modern barrel lifters using forklifts, they only offer a marginal increase in speed.
Cimtech designed and developed a revolutionary product that would double output for their wine and spirits partners. After an initial trial with a long-time client, the client praised the Double Barrel Lifter and purchased more for their other warehouses.
With this initial success, Cimtech realized it was time to move beyond its inner circle and market the solution to the wider wine and spirits industry.
