LensFactory is a direct-to-consumer e-commerce brand dedicated to providing high-quality optical lenses to people from the comfort of their own homes.
In addition to traditional plastic and polycarbonate lenses, LensFactory is one of the few online retailers that manufactures glass lenses, progressives and complex prescription lenses.
The challenge
A solution hiding in plain sight
The primary hurdle for LensFactory is a lack of widespread brand awareness. Most consumers are unaware that “lens replacement” is a viable option; instead, they assume they must purchase an entirely new, expensive pair of frames every time their prescription changes or a lens is damaged.
To support their ongoing marketing efforts, Mammoth Creative was commissioned to write and produce a series of polished video ads to deliver this message to a wider audience.
The solution
Storytelling that builds credibility and community
Mammoth Creative produced a series of video ads for paid ads and organic social media marketing. We also helped build a photo library of their facility and dedicated technicians for use in digital and physical marketing collateral.
The video ads continued the story of a previous set of ads featuring a young woman who dropped her frames and scratched her lenses as she ran out the front door. She is now a young mother dealing with the chaos of having a messy toddler. We positioned LensFactory as the hero of the story, helping the young mother save money and keep her favorite frames.
