We’re Mammoth Creative, a creative services team based in Louisville, KY. We specialize in website design and development, social media management, video production and photography.
We’ve been doing this for a while, and if there’s one thing we’ve learned, every project is different. However, we also believe having a method to the madness helps us deliver better results for you. This is our process.
At Mammoth Creative, we do a couple of different things, but this is the typical journey that you can expect—no matter what we’re helping you with.
Our entire process is built on trust, so we start things with a quick chat before we take on any new project. It’s just a chance to get to know each other and ensure we understand your project scope and goals. This is where you do a lot of talking, we do a lot of listening, and we talk through just about everything.
We usually ask questions like:
Once we understand what you’re looking for, we’ll send you a project budget and timeline to review. This will give you a clear picture of the road ahead. You can also request to add or remove items from the scope, which will adjust your price.
The proposal will include things such as:
Once you green-light the project, we’ll sign a contract and collect a deposit. Usually, we ask for 50% of the project fee upfront to ensure we’re all equally invested in the project. The remaining payment is typically due before the final assets are delivered.
Your email will include:
We offer several different services, so this part usually depends on the tactic we’re helping with. If it’s a website project, we start with the discovery process; video production projects begin with pre-production; other projects have their own process.
We believe there’s no single magic trick to unlock perfect results, but we get the best results when the process is deeply collaborative and considers your thoughts, goals, voice and expertise every step of the way.
Once a draft is ready, we’ll share it with you. You can then share it with your team, key stakeholders and trusted advisors, allowing us to gather everyone’s thoughts and gut reactions.
As you’re sitting with the work, ask yourself these questions:
We rarely get things perfect on the first attempt, and that’s okay. Most projects typically include up to three rounds of revisions. That means you’ll see drafts, provide feedback, review updated versions, provide more feedback, and then look over final drafts for approval.
As you compile feedback, here are a few things to consider:
We’ll send the final invoice once we have final approval on the project. After you pay the final invoice, we’ll hand over the final assets or launch your website. This is also where we’ll follow up on additional projects we decided to kick off after completing this project.
Here are some of the files you’ll receive:
A clear roadmap ensures our creative spark stays ignited, the project stays on track, and you receive the best possible experience.
We’ve worked with other firms that sometimes put the cart ahead of the horse, and that’s when things can go off the rails.
If this process sounds like a good fit for your organization, let’s talk. We specialize in solving complex marketing problems through engaging, effective creative services.
