The challenge
Outdated site and hosting hindered a global mission
Hand in Hand Ministries faced significant digital hurdles with their decades-old website.
Pages on their website took up to 10 seconds to load, much of their most informative copy was hidden behind dropdown menus, and the site lacked visuals to balance the copy on the site.
Lastly, their hosting provider was severely outdated and lacked many features that are standard with modern hosting providers.
The solution
Modern hosting and tools to boost engagement
We began by migrating their entire website to our robust hosting platform in Cloudways, immediately resolving their severe loading speed and feature limitations.
We then designed and developed a complete overhaul of Hand in Hand’s website. We focused on creating a modern, intuitive and visually engaging experience that showcased all of their volunteers through the years on immersion trips.
We also integrated a calendar tool to help people sign up for immersion trips and strategically placed email signup forms throughout the site to boost their ability to grow their email marketing list.
